Lori A. Rockwood
Lori's specialty areas are depression, relationship issues, social skills, childhood abuse, parenting, self esteem issues, bullying, stress management, grief/bereavement, anxiety and anger management. Her client populations are children, teens, and adults.
Lori is a Licensed Professional Counselor and a National Board Certified Counselor. She earned her Bachelor of Science at East Central University in Ada, Oklahoma. She earned her Master of Education in Guidance and Counseling in 1993 and her Master of Education in Educational Administration in 2002, both from Tarleton State University.
Lori has practiced counseling for 20+ years. She has worked in public education, the criminal justice system, and private practice.
Lori enjoys spending time with her family, riding horses, running, and watching college sports. She is married and has two children.

Whether you are struggling with anxiety, depression, conflict in your relationships, or just overall feeling stressed, I am here to help. My name is Kim and I’m a LCSW with over 10 years of experience. My goal is to help you build skills to live a fulfilled and happy life.
I graduated with my Masters of Science in Social Work from Columbia University in 2011. I've worked in a range of settings as both a clinician and clinical supervisor. I’m certified in Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (TFCBT), a leading evidence-based approach to address childhood trauma. I’ve also completed intensive training in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), and Multi-Systemic Therapy (MST).
I work primarily with teens, age 18 or older, and adults and am licensed in Texas, Connecticut, and Utah. I am here to help you reach your goals. If you're interested in working together, please call the office or schedule an appointment online. I look forward to meeting you!

It is normal to have challenges in life, and there should be no stigma attached to asking for help. My goal is to listen and gently help guide individuals through any turbulent situations that they are currently experiencing or that are unsettled from the past. I believe that challenges offer individuals an opportunity to learn more about themselves, an opportunity to become more authentic, and an opportunity to become more grounded.
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas. I have also earned the designation of Certified Clinical Trauma Professional. I earned a Master Degree of Education in School Counseling from Texas A&M-Central Texas. I have experience working in a variety of settings, such as schools, rehabilitation facilities, domestic violence shelters, career centers, hospitals, and correctional facilities. I see clients of all ages and in all stages of life.
I believe in treating individuals holistically with the use of Strength-Based, Person-Centered, Trauma-Informed, Somatic and Mindful approaches. My methods include Qigong and Yoga. My specializations are in anxiety, depression, PTSD, grief, trauma, domestic violence, sexual identity issues, and gender identity issues.

Shaylee Gutierrez
Shaylee is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Associate under the supervision of Lori
Rockwood, MEd, LPC-S. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Master of Science in Clinical
Mental Health Counseling at Tarleton State University. Shaylee has experience working in
school-based settings as well as private practice serving children, adolescents, and adults with a
variety of mental health needs.
Shaylee has a passion for working alongside individuals and families as they navigate life
challenges. She focuses on a Person-Centered approach to support and empower clients to reach
their goals.
